Coronavirus Update

The Bank & Trust Update – as of 3/20/2020

As the coronavirus evolves across Texas, we acknowledge and understand that banking will remain a vital necessity for individuals and businesses alike. All of our 5 lobbies across Bryan/College Station will remain open for business at this time. For your protection, however, and with the recent escalation of preventative recommendations by the CDC and the State of Texas to contain the coronavirus, we are now asking that you use our drive-thru lanes for the same teller transactions we offer inside the branch

  • Cash checks and make deposits
  • Get cashiers checks and money orders
  • Replace a debit card
  • Statement and Check Copies
  • Temporary Check Issuance
  • Cash Advances
  • Change Orders

Please note, some of these lobby services may not be available at all locations, and you may experience longer than normal wait times in the drive-thru lanes. This information is also subject to change and lobbies at certain locations are subject to be closed with only the drive-thru remaining open.  Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

How to Spot Financial Scams

During times of distress, criminals use fear to take advantage of unsuspecting victims. You may receive communication that:

  • offer fake products or medical advice
  • create fake charities
  • offer you the government’s stimulus check
  • compel you to click a link that appears to be from the CDC, World Health Organization, or other institutions that appear legitimate, but are malicious

Be cautious of correspondence requiring immediate action. Fully examine the message and links for misspellings or bad grammar, and never provide confidential information.

If you you receive a phone call, remember: Neither the government, nor First Financial will ever ask for your passwords, PIN, or debit card numbers.
